somebody beat me to it!

Recent article I came across.. Attention Shoppers! Student probes schism between Target, Wal-Mart

Yup, a college kid in Colorado wrote a paper on it for a class.

And let me tell you, it’s the exact. same. conclusion. that we all came to in November of ’05.

Target.. woohoo!
Walmart… gaaaaah.

  3. If you are driving the getaway car then that would mean.. you would have to actually drive your truck and waste gas.

  4. Anyways being the getaway driver also means you have to leave your little vacation spot because the last time I checked there is no Walmart on the water there.

  5. Well since gas is supposed to hit $4 this summer, and I drive 130 miles to work twice a week, and therefore have to fill up once a week (last time was $62), I don’t think it’s irrational that I want to not drive my Jeep and have Chop drive his very economical car.

    😛

  6. Cannot give out my opinion as I haven’t been in those places before… the things is that Wal-mart became one of the best business few years ago and it was even case of study. However, they thought they had everything gained and other chains, like Target, started to invest on an additional value that is the psychological side of the costumer. And, like the report mentions in some point, visual things and perceptions are crucial for a business ! and nowadays it is even more important because costumers want to find a differential factor of their action of shopping.
