words of an age

I liked Brokeback Mountain. I thought it was a great film that addressed a controversial subject with style and grace.

That being said, my favorite thing about this movie is the phrase it gave us… the phrase that reminds me of an old phrase, one we used to use in jest. A phrase that for many, many, many years, always garnered a giggle…..

“You had me at hello.” Ò€”Jerry Maguire

Now we have…

“I wish I could quit you.”

Thank you, Brokeback, we needed that. πŸ™‚

  11. I love that movie! It was filmed near where I live so now there are people offering Brokeback ‘tours’ of Moose Mountain (the mountain that doubled as Brokeback in the movie). It’s funny because all the ranchers in the area who helped with the horse wrangling are all these total redneck types who weren’t too thrilled find out they had worked on a gay cowboy movie. But then again, maybe they’re all in the closet too…

Malnurtured… there was a suspicious lack of male frontal nudity in that film. Argh. πŸ˜‰

    Me.. oh sheesh, ROTFL.

Le Will.. reaaaaalllllly now. So did you go and watch? Did ya?
