It was filmed near where I live so now there are people offering Brokeback ‘tours’ of Moose Mountain (the mountain that doubled as Brokeback in the movie). It’s funny because all the ranchers in the area who helped with the horse wrangling are all these total redneck types who weren’t too thrilled find out they had worked on a gay cowboy movie. But then again, maybe they’re all in the closet too…
