lunch break

We are still here—no NYC for us. 🙁 The coworker was cranky, so we went to her favorite place for lunch… the bar.

Yep.

So we went for a drink, ended up having two apiece and not paying for either… because we got an earful from a retired businessman who heard us talking and had to interject (and buy us drinks).

For two hours.

Oh. dear. god.

  5. Aww.. you guys are so sweet.

After a stirring rendition of “Automobile” by NWA/Eazy-E.. trust me, you don’t want to hear it… the coworker and I bagged work for the day and went home.

I am now working from my toasty warm home—but still slightly buzzing.

  15. I believe you… I have a thing for baked beans and salsa. Particularly when eaten with lime tortilla chips. Yum.

  16. ew. hehehe. j/k. though i actually hate baked beans. i can eat the ones my mom would make. but only because she would put loads of brown sugar and katsup and other things to make it really tasty…

  17. rotfl… my mom put all sorts of condiments in baked beans—and everyone adores them. I, however, simply open the can of Bush’s Vegetarian Baked Beans, toss some in a bowl, nuke them, throw in some Pace Hot salsa and voila… a dip. Yum.

I have no idea why, but for some reason the combination of flavors suits me. 🙂
