January 15th, 2009my everything hurts
Our driveway is probably a little less than a quarter mile long, but with the unbelievably cold weather (15 degrees right now—high of 9 tomorrow) and the lovely two inches of ice that have formed on the ground, I suggested I drive the Chop up the driveway to put out the trash and recycling.
Great idea, all around.
Except for when I slipped on the ice getting into my car and landed on my back. I believe I have an ice burn on my hand, my elbow is killing me and now I have pain in my lower back. For more fun, I’m sure I’ll have some nice bruises on my ass tomorrow.
Awesome. Love this weather.

Holy Shit!! The weekend before Christmas, I slipped on my back steps and did a literal face plant onto the ice on my back deck. I left a lovely puddle of blood in the snow, and looked like I got my ass handed to me by a street brawler.
I didn’t, however, drop the wine I was carrying, lol

OMG.. that is way worse than me, but good job on the wine, LOL. I’m just sore a bit today with some nice bruises on my butt and hand.
Had I been carrying vodka, I probably would’ve started drinking it right there, hehe.

I totally loved the “dusting to an inch” that we got on Sunday night/Monday morning.
