Saturday movie reviews:
The Good German—The story was interesting, but the accents were awful, the filmography was almost-there-but-not-quite and overall, it was just slightly boring. And predictable.
Reign Over Me—I cried. Don Cheadle was awesome (as per usual), but Adam Sandler in a non-funny, tragic role? Surprisingly incredibly good. It did a great job of showing PTSD and how it affects everyone around you.
Mamma Mia—Much to the chagrin of the Porkchop, I love this movie. LOVE. It’s campy and hilarious and the music is awful, but so catchy and Pierce Brosnan can’t sing but he does it anyway. I watched it twice. (I know… Chop is so disturbed by this.) He got home as I was watching it a second time and as it turns out, he is not a fan. Jerkass. 😛
I watched Mamma Mia on Friday and loved it!!!!!
Reign Over Me also made me cry and i thought it was amazing!
The Good German i did not like. I gave it a 2 out of 5.
I have the The Duchess and Eagle Eye to watch tomorrow.
