May 26th, 2008indiana jones redux is crap
Do not go see the new Indiana Jones movie. It is SO FREAKING BAD.
I’m not kidding. It’s slow, it starts and stops, the acting is bad, the whole script is bad and seriously, Indiana Jones and ALIENS?! Please.
Sorry. Probably spoiled it for you. Whatever though, it’s really bad. I’d rather see National Treasure 2.
I disagree.
It was everything that I thought that it would be: IT WAS FUN!
Never forget these movies were made in homage to the serial movies of the 30s. It was only after the 1st and 3rd ones were so frickin’ good that a whole mythology built up around them. My friend King Tonga thinks that this may have been the best of the series. I don’t agree with that, but only for personal reasons.
If you want to be entertained and still have the ability to suspend your disbelief for two hours of summer blockbuster, this is your movie.
I’m not sure I liked it more than I liked Iron Man, but only because Harrison’s a little older, not quite as rougish as he once was and Robert Downey, Jr. totally fuck’n nailed Tony Stark like you wouldn’t believe.
All in all, they were both so worth the $6.50.
