December 30th, 2007good to be home
We got back from the land of ice and snow last night, after many nights of drinking and outright debauchery (in addition to all sorts of family time).
In other words, we are very, very glad to be home, lol.
The day we left, I had slipped on the stairs while rushing, and the bruise that has now formed right on/above my tailbone goes all the way across my back. It’s hurt like an SOB since last Saturday, and quite sadly, it is still incredibly painful.
But I still managed to un-decorate the house and tree last night during the Pats game, and to my great satisfaction, the tree is out, the decorations are gone and the presents have been put away. Granted, there is still some laundry left, and boxes to break down, but all in all, we are heading into January all clean. 🙂
we didn’t have any decorations to take down. sigh. not enough money for a tree. but it’s okay, i got my first real paycheck on the 21st so we were able to buy prezzies before christmas!
