October 17th, 2006so, SO not cool
I have two cats (whom I’ve posted about before so this is no big shock) and they are mama’s babies and that’s that.
It’s taken them weeks, but slowly they’ve been warming up to the Porkchop.
Which is all well and good, but they are mama’s babies.
The Chop worked from home today.
When I got here, he was asleep on the big chair, with Izzie (the biggest mama’s girl) sleeping in his lap.
I laughed, thinking it was a fluke.
He’s back on the chair; I’m curled on the couch.
Both of my cats, who normally sleep on me when I get home, are curled up next to the Porkchop on the big chair.
And I am alone on the couch.
There is something very wrong here.
Cats, children… What an ungrateful bunch.

seriously.
so the only reason wendy still curls up with me is because English insists on “training” her… which means he picks her up and forces her to cuddle when he calls her.
but really. oh you know, i bet the problem is that he’s a porkchop, and you know how kittens love gnawing on meat. perhaps they simply gorged themselves on him and then went into a food coma, and he’s not really sleeping but is in shock from the blood loss?

I remember the shock and hurt I felt the first time D.C.(big time Mama’s boy, one-person kitty, the whole nine) curled up next to the boyfriend, leaving me all alone on the other side of the bed. Not cool.
