July 11th, 2006lost, lost and more lost
So I met the Kat this evening, and let me just say… I want to take her home and keep her. (Granted, it’s mainly ’cause she makes up words and thinks I’m Mediterranean… : ), but still.)
And she didn’t give me too much shit about getting lost, something which happened, erm, oh, three times today? Yeah. Interviews out the kazoo and I’m getting completely turned around and debating just bagging the whole deal and heading out of Dodge.
No worries, my Dad got me unlost the first time, the mailman the second time and the third time was just a crapshoot, ’cause the Kat gives really bad directions… :P.
The interviews went really well, particularly the last one, which is for a very interesting development company… favorite part being the Nerf ball guns behind the desks, lol… and while I don’t mind the process, I’m very much looking forward to a few days of nothing but being a beach bum and sleeping late. 🙂
i give great directions. i can’t be blamed for people who skim when they read… how was i to know that your skimming applied to street signs as well?

i did no such thing! i totally told you the right street, but had i known i would have to give you street names AND landmarks “turn left at western ave/the intersection with a starbucks, leader bank, and tax man” … dork. and to be fair to both of us, that’s a fucked up intersection anyway because it’s a regular fourway intersection but has three street names. and only western ave is left-turnable, while a right takes you onto prospect, but river street turns INTO prospect… yea. lame.
