no lighter, sad me

So airport security took my lighter and the guy sitting behind me just told someone he was in Boston… um, we aren’t. Should I tell him? Does he really think this dinky airport is Logan?

When I checked in, I got an option to pay $15 for an aisle seat closer to the front… I paid it. When did that crap start?

My flight hasn’t started boarding yet and it’s supposed to take off in twenty minutes… I’m a little concerned.

Oh and too make matters even more fun, I get the joy of working tomorrow—even though I technically have the day off.

Only nine days left… but who’s counting?

  1. I can only assume you’re on Northwest with their “Coach choice” program, where you pay for exit row and aisle seats.

Which is one of the many reasons why I refuse to fly Northwest unless someone else is paying for the ticket.

  2. OK see yeah.. argh. But I did it and I’d do it again darn it! Especially since we sat at the gate for an hour because of mechanical issues… yeah. 😛

  3. Pfffft. Flying can really suck. But hey. Beats driving 16 hours. (And yes I’m definitely talking from experience.)
