November 6th, 2005just because
So I did basically nothing today, except finish a book—A Long Way Down, and no, reading this book in no way reflects on my current mental status, just to get that out there—and vacuum.
And oh yeah, where do I go to get one of these?
8:15 Update: Finished The Unwanted, too. Kien Nguyen’s memoir about growing up Amerasian in Vietnam during the 70s. Brilliant and heartwrenching.
Now The West Wing is featuring a live debate between the two candidates. It’s fun. 🙂
Call it a guilty pleasure but I quite like Nick Hornby. Was it any good?

meh. i don’t pay for heat or water so showers for me take like… i dunno. 20 minutes or so. possibly/probably longer. and that’s without shaving or washing my hair sometimes. yea. i’m a waster.

I’m about 15-20 in the morning. Mainly because I have a fabulous rainfall showerhead and it’s just so.. fabulous.
On another note.. Old Navy has a new brand, ONBody natural/organic lip balms and lotions, etc., and their Vanilla/Coconut lip balm is yummy. 🙂

mmmmmmm it’s smoother than ouzo. but burns the lips ten times worse. but the taste is smoother. it’s nice. i admit i did not drink enough for any ill effect. it’s strong stuff though. and a very lovely shade of green.
