October 3rd, 2005trash day
Today is trash day, and after much deliberation, I decided to put my trashcan, once again, on the curb.
Who here thinks it’s going to be gone when I get home?
Yeah, me too. Damn.
Talking with my landlord on Saturday, she was aghast to hear that someone had “borrowed” my trashcan. So it definitely wasn’t her. I’ll be keeping an eye on my next door neighbor. He’s a bit creepy anyway.

Why don’t you paint it with your intials or something?

Well.. um. Because that did not occur to me. And I just don’t wanna damn it. WTF is wrong with the world when someone steals your trashcan?!

Maybe they needed it to transport a body… Think of other people’s needs!
I think it’ll still be there, though. If only because otherwise, it would mean you have a serial killer in your neighbourhood, and that’s a bit creepy.
😉

Maybe they took it to empty it and clean it for you and then forgot … or had an accident … or lost their memory(/IES) 🙂

Anne… LOLOL. Thanks for making me scared to go home. 😛
Prerona… except that it came back dirty inside. As if someone had thrown gravel in it and possibly a body.. lol.

$2 says it’s gone.

Deal. (I take checks, just fyi. 😛 )
Comment by the insider — October 3, 2005 @ 12:25 pm
Do you write checks in euro? Because $5 says it’s still there…
Comment by Anne — October 3, 2005 @ 2:40 pm
LOL… excellent. Everyone can bet and if it gets stolen, I’ll take up a collection. 😉

Count me in. If I win, I’ll… buy two pains au chocolat or something.
Comment by Anne — October 3, 2005 @ 3:45 pm
Ooooo.. chocolate.
Yes, OK. You’re in. 😉

You should rig it with a homing device. They sell those at Radio Shack right?
Comment by the guest — October 3, 2005 @ 5:10 pm
LOL…
It was here. Pay up Grampa. 😛

How do I know that you aren’t just saying that the can was there?
Perhaps I cannot trust you to tell the truth about the can.
We’ve already discussed some mutual views on Machiavellian truths.
Hmmm.
Comment by Grampa — October 3, 2005 @ 7:08 pm
Good point, but you can rest assured. If the can was not there, I would’ve thrown a hissy fit the likes of which you’ve never seen.
Yup.

Truer words were never spoken.
Comment by Grampa — October 3, 2005 @ 7:36 pm
You’re lucky I brought that on myself buster. 😛
Comment by the insider — October 3, 2005 @ 7:39 pm
I know.
Comment by Grampa — October 3, 2005 @ 7:56 pm
We’re sharing, yes? Think of the chocolate croissants….
Comment by Anne — October 4, 2005 @ 3:36 am
Ooo, yes. I like that plan. 🙂

she took it away with the intention of emptying and cleaning it (her GSA of a lifetime) but then she had the accident and lost her memory so her boyfriend took it from where she had left it & quitely returned it.
i dont know if he did anything with it (or with her) involving bodies before returning it
Comment by Prerona — October 4, 2005 @ 10:09 am
Ahhh… I see. Well that just explains everything. 😉
