So I am going to refrain from deleting the previous post, even though I wrote it in a fit of insanity and I really hate when I do that.
But I thought I would leave you with this awesome new song that a friend/annoying-person-i-know recommended.. it’s very indicative of how I feel lately.
Photograph, by Nickelback

I recommended no such song.
I would have recommended Photograph by Def Leppard. That’s a decent song.

You think you’re the annoying person I know? rotfl Sorry, nope.
Def Leppard? Um. Wow. Divergent musical tastes.

It was the Eighties, I was high, what can I say, really?
Comment by Grampa — September 21, 2005 @ 10:28 pm
lol.. I guess that explains it.

Nickleback eh? Its nice to see that you appreciate some Canadian music across the border. …even if it IS Nickleback! 😉 (But I’ll admit, that’s a pretty nice song)
Have you ever heard of the tragically Hip? (aka: simply, ‘the hip’) I’ve just gotta know!
Comment by Kerry — September 21, 2005 @ 11:20 pm
Music makes the generation gap really hit, eh.
Don’t care, like both. I’m such a kid, at heart.

Kerry.. Nickelback. 🙂 And I had not heard of The Tragically Hip, but that’s why I have iTunes. 😉 So I listened.. not bad. Song suggestion?
You like them both Anne? lol OK, we’ll give it to ya. 😉

Okay first, im not THAT annoying and second, you know that what annoyingness(if that is in fact a word) i do posses makes you laugh and helps get you through the day! 🙂
Comment by andy — September 22, 2005 @ 9:43 am
Oh and third, i am so insulted that I refuse to talk to you for the rest of the week! 😛
Comment by andy — September 22, 2005 @ 9:44 am
Awww.. did I hurt your feelings? 😉 It’s true, whatever annoyingness (yes, I know that’s a word :P) you do possess (in spades) does make me laugh and get me through the day.
Don’t be insulted, it was a compliment. Kinda. 😉

…hard to narrow down one song by the hip… depends on what you like to listen to generally, although anything off of Day for Night or Fully Completely will usually be a winner. 🙂
Comment by Kerry — September 22, 2005 @ 9:59 am
Hmm.. OK, I’ll check them out. 🙂

I meant Nickelback and Def Leppard. I haven’t actually listened to the song. And I’ve always always always said that I had shitty taste in music…
Comment by Anne — September 22, 2005 @ 10:17 am
I know you did, lol, Def Leppard?! Really? lol 🙂
Not shitty taste, just eccentric. But shit, I have the oddest taste in music, too, so no worries.

The drummer from def leopard only had one arm!
Comment by andy — September 22, 2005 @ 10:28 am
Does that mean we give them some leeway on sound quality..? 🙂
Comment by the insider — September 22, 2005 @ 10:33 am
Eccentric. Me in a nutshell.
Comment by Anne — September 22, 2005 @ 12:19 pm

I’d suggest “New orleans is sinking” by the Hip, it is now banned on Canadian radio because of Katrina. “little bones” is good too, reminds me of my drinking university days.
I heard a joke the other day: what has 7 arms and sucks? def leppard
I still kind of like them though…
Comment by Le will — September 22, 2005 @ 7:53 pm
I listened to that one! The other I will go and see.
Nice joke.. lol, they still suck. 🙂
Comment by the insider — September 22, 2005 @ 8:00 pm
New orleans is sinking is a great tune for sure, but one of the favourites ’round these parts is Wheat Kings…. its one of the first songs anyone (myself included!) learns to play on guitar…
Comment by Kerry — September 23, 2005 @ 2:57 am
Wheat Kings, OK, writing that one down too. lol
Comment by the insider — September 23, 2005 @ 7:44 am
Have you had a chance to listen to more of the Hip yet? I’m dying to know what you think!
Comment by Kerry — September 23, 2005 @ 11:40 am
Yes I listened to all that everyone mentioned. 🙂 They’re pretty good.. not really my taste, but Wheat Kings was good. 🙂
Comment by the insider — September 23, 2005 @ 11:50 am
Its all a question of taste, but well done that you appreciate it anyway. 🙂
Comment by Kerry — September 23, 2005 @ 1:10 pm
