sacrilege

So I worked today.. woohoo, Saturday in the office. Kill me now. We ran labs, so we had the added bonus of having the Boss come down for a few hours. Eh. No fighting, and no yelling… but our workload increased significantly. Love that.

And then I just found out that NBC moved The West Wing to Sunday night. WTF?! That’s the night shows go to die.

Miserable corporate bastards…::::grumble, grumble::::

But I did get my oil changed today (only 1500 miles overdo)… and I got a discount. 😉

  1. Post Season 4 I couldn’t watch anymore. Is it any good without Aaron?

I’m glad your day was productive Insider :).

  2. It’s still good.. not as fabulous as it used to be, but it’s still good.

You’re still up again? How do you function?

    🙂 It was productive.

  3. Very cool.

Yup, still up. I function with the able assistance of DC, of course :). And, I do video editing from home for income right now, so my hours are currently my own while I try and muster the energy and soul to pursue my creative ambitions professionally.

+ I kinda dig staying up late.

  4. I used to be able to stay up until dawn, but those were the good old days. 🙂 Now I get cranky if I haven’t gotten about eight hours.

So do tell, what creative ambitions? 🙂

  5. Literary ambitions. Failing that, starting my own business, which would be a creative endeavor of sorts. Failing that I’ll probably just return to my old job in LA in just a different incarnation, which involves creativity. But, the first option is all I really want in the whole, wide world to be honest. Been my dream for a little while now.

What will be will be, me thinks.

Yeah, dawn is the best. I love falling asleep as the sun comes up. Or going outside for a smoke when that morning chill is in the air. Or drifting into dream with the hum of birdsong in the background. It’s almost winter here now so its like dark 24/7.

  6. I’d say you could make a go at a literary career. Your blog has some great stuff. And I know you only want to go back to LA for Poquito Mas, lol. 😉

Outside for a smoke..? You didn’t fall off the wagon now, did you? 😉

One of my favorite things to do on the weekend is to either stay up until dawn or wake up at dawn. I love falling asleep when the sun is streaming in. It’s weird.

Can you tell I’ve been drinking this evening, lol?

  9. Yes, whatever… the oil discount isnt an excuse to justify how miserable is to work on saturdays.
