July 5th, 2005my laptop is the spawn of the devil
No, really, it is. It’s slow today… monstrously, disasterously slow. Babies crawl faster, snails creep quicker. I’m going to kill my laptop—toss it out the window and let it shatter and see if that freakin’ helps.
OK, I feel better now.
But since this is probably not the best thing, does anyone have any suggestions here? It’s a Mac, Powerbook G4… and apparently it hates me today.
I’m in no way an expert in anything computer-related but my roomie also has a G4 and unless you’re using your computer primarily for graphics design or movie editing, it tends to be, i don’t know, inflexible?…i recently got a fujitsu lifebook and it’s simply divine…:)

Hmm… a fujitsu? I’m such an Apple-Lovin’ Mac girl though.. 🙂
And I do use it for quite a bit of web design, graphic design, movie editing… my job incorporates all of that.
It’s really quite irritating, the slowness. It hasn’t been a big issue before, but lately.. I’m wondering if I accidentally downloaded something or other? Not sure.
