happy thanksgiving!

The Chop and I are celebrating Thanksgiving with an entire houseful of my family. The nice thing is I don’t have to make the turkey (!)… the not nice thing is we had to wake up early and my sister’s dog and mine have not quite bonded yet, lol.

This was a good year for us, and I hope if was for everyone else as well.

Have a happy thanksgiving!

bathroom party of 1?

Does anyone else think it’s kinda ew that there’s a newspaper, opened to the sports section, sitting in the (co-ed) office bathroom?

Bleh.

pre-wedding pains

Today I wrote thank you cards for almost two hours. My thumb still hurts, but honestly all I can think of is that we’re going to have to write thank you cards to everyone who comes to the wedding… and that’s way more and omg, Chop has terrible handwriting.

Granted, mine’s not awesome either (keyboard child), but his is barely legible. Which means I’m staring down the barrel of some serious hand cramps in a few weeks.

Sigh. Anybody want to come help? lol

um, hi?

It’s funny, once you finally just stop blogging, it’s really easy to forget how long it’s been. In my case, almost three months. And I have no excuse other than my wedding is exactly three weeks away, business is booming (so we’re working nonstop) and I can barely manage to do laundry every week, let alone take the time to blog. A pathetic excuse, yes, but true nonetheless.

But if you haven’t noticed, somebody awesome is back in the states and it appears as if she might be blogging.. and that inspired me to come back too. 🙂

The past months have been insane—work, house, wedding, traveling every other weekend for wedding-related things—and the Chop and I are desperately looking forward to January. Married, no traveling for a few months, tickets to see Bourdain (hehe, LOVE him)—January is going to be a wonderful month.
