I know, I know, I’m slacking again. Thing is, I’ve been really sick for the past week and a half and I really haven’t been motivated to do anything.
The fun thing is that I’ve done all the blood tests and the abdominal ultrasound that I did last time I was sick, and this time, only one of my liver stats was slightly elevated.
We’re waiting for one test to come back to see if I have a virus that’s possibly caused a stomach ulcer (yeah, dandy huh) and if that comes back negative, my dad has decided that I have some sort of weird virus that they’ve never seen. And that I’ve had it since I was sick last year.
Which means, ironically, that I might not be allergic to birth control.
But I doubt it, lol.
Anyway, I’m on three different kinds of meds now and so I’m functioning.. the down side is that I can’t have liquor or caffeine.
Yeah. My life blood. It’s been taken from me. :((
Also, the Porkchop is sitting next to me having a drink and oh my god, that’s painful. The ass, lol.
So in general, the new family unit is functioning quite well. Izzie has no problem hanging out and being within a foot of Reggie, so long as Reggie doesn’t attempt to lick her.
Also, the three seconds of weird barking was not appreciated when the Porkchop was playing the guitar, either, lol.
Ellie, on the other hand, is coming around slowly. She’s back to pooping on the bathroom floor (weird thing to be happy about, but hey, we didn’t want to have to worry about bowel obstructions, thanks), she comes out a few times a day, mainly for wet food and isn’t running away from the gate when Reggie comes to sniff.
She’s found that Izzie’s hiding spot under the table is very handy for observing dog movement.
One cat is on my lap, Regina’s at my feet in her basket, the other cat is finally out of hiding and sitting on top of the bed, as opposed to under, and the Porkchop is getting coffee.
Lovely way to work from home.
Somebody, right now, is about to get married in Scotland. Sadly, I am not there. 🙁
