anyway, i found out about this on wednesday. i scoured the internet for information. and by the time English came home from work i was in tears. so now i just think maybe i shouldn’t watch the news for this very reason.

English said basically the same thing the chop said. there are tragedies all over the world, humans are animals, things will never simply be happy, and it’s not just in the US.

anyway. it’s sad. i’m going to go look at baby animals to make myself feel better.

By what I said, I more meant that in the overall scheme, it was unexpected.. you know, I didn’t wake up thinking that something like that could happen. If I had been in Baghdad, or Sudan, it would have been more plausible. Sorry I wasn’t clear.

From what I’ve seen it wasn’t overlooked, they just couldn’t help. He didn’t make any direct threats, so the police couldn’t stop him, and he had already been in a mental institution and seeing a therapist.

There’s no need to apology for comments, lol, I love them! 😀 And I like the debate.

It made no sense.” from the coverage that ive seen it appears that he was bullied alot, and he tried to express this through his literature / drawings – and i believe he was diagnosed for depression? so perhaps the signs were there, but unfortuantely overlooked.
