Granted, her stairs are small and carpeted (5 or 6 steps) so it isn’t as dangerous as a huge staircase that has wood or concrete at the bottom. Plus, my niece is brilliant (not that I’m at all biased…)

It’s fun to freak out the men isn’t it? 🙂

And to keep blind mutes from falling into holes.

Long story short, my best friend has a client living in her home who is mentally retarded, blind and a mute. She has this entrance area that is sunken from the rest of her livingroom. The client worked his way across the livingroom and fell into the hole and broke his hip. Needless to say, the babygates went up quickly.

Sorry to not have been around much lately, I finally graduated and am now working on my studies so that I can take my licensing exam and actually get back to work….as a nurse!
