It’s a nature preserve on the coast (they have a lot of those around here). Directly behind us, over some sand dunes, was a huge open bay with Great White Herons and egrets, but the guest and the outsider wouldn’t let me go birding… sigh. (I’m a little more nerdy than they are, lol.)
